Happiness is a voyage, not a destination
There is no better time to be happy than
NOW!
Live and enjoy the moment

Having been friends for a number of years this web page is our way of offering an advice service based on our own knowledge and life experiences.
As avid readers of books and articles relating to a wide range of subjects including womens health and wellbeing we felt that we had something to say and in November 2006 we finished writing our first book, Quintessential Woman, a book that takes a look at the menopause and onwards in a positive yet, practical way. The book was published in December 2007 and is available on line from Amazon as well as many other outlets worldwide including The Bookcase and Jashanmals here, in Bahrain. If you would like to order your copy via what-do-we-know? 'click' the Q.W link!
Our tastes and interests are similar, including our love of animals and this is how we met. Over the years our personal growth in spiritual matters and alternative therapies has opened many other doors for us.
We live in a multi-cultural society and this has given us the opportunity to make many friends who come from all walks of life and we have had the chance to learn, first hand, about different cultures, religions and countries.
It was an easy decision to name our web page, ‘what-do-we-know?’ because there is always going to be someone that asks that question; “Who do they think they are-what do they know?”. It has never been our intention to mislead anyone and that is why we clearly make the Disclaimer. 'We are not qualified professional people councilors...though we are qualified professionals in other fields.
Does that mean we have no right to advertise ourselves as 'agony aunts'? We don’t think so, what we are offering is advice based on our own life experiences and believe us; we have had quite a few! Some of them good and some not so good and we are able to give advice based on these, our life, experiences. We do not look back and say, “I wish I could change what happened”, or, “I should have reacted differently". Life is lived through a succession of experiences and our 'yesterdays' make us who we are today, and as we age we see things in a new, calmer, mature light. You often hear people say, “I wish I had known then what I know now”, how true but just think how boring the life journey would have been if we had known all of the answers!
We have to make mistakes and errors of judgment in order to see things more clearly and to enable us to grow morally and spiritually.
